Outpatients receive treatment in the acute admissions unit, the appointment-only outpatient clinic and several special clinics. For inpatients, the department has its own intensive care unit, a stroke unit, two general wards and a neurorehabilitation ward. From serious emergencies to recovery of function through neurorehabilitation, comprehensive care is guaranteed.
The uniqueness and the added value of our department are the result of the symbiosis between patient care, research and education. The department is jointly operated by the Medical University of Graz and the Styrian Hospital Association (KAGes).
